Terms of service

By creating a HoistDue account you agree to these terms. If you sign up for a company, you agree on its behalf.

The service

HoistDue is a tool for recording crane and hoist inspections and repairs. Due dates and reminders are a convenience: you and your qualified inspectors remain responsible for meeting OSHA, ASME and manufacturer requirements and for the content of every inspection and report. We aren't responsible for equipment damage, downtime, missed inspections or injuries.

Your account

• Keep your password private. You're responsible for what happens under your account.
• The company owner controls who joins the company's account and can disable users at any time.
• Don't misuse the service: no attempts to break in, overload it, or access other companies' data.

Plans and billing

• New companies get a 30-day free trial with no card. Paid plans are billed monthly or yearly in advance through Stripe and renew automatically until cancelled.
• You can cancel any time from the Billing page; you keep paid features until the end of the period you paid for. We don't give partial refunds.
• If a plan lapses, your data stays, but adding and changing records and logins above your plan stop working until you choose a plan again.
• We may change prices with at least 30 days' notice by email.

Your data

Your company's records belong to you. You can export them at any time. See the privacy policy for what we store.

Availability

We work to keep HoistDue running but can't promise it will never be down. The service is provided "as is", and our total liability is limited to what you paid us in the last 12 months.

Changes and ending

We may update these terms and will email account owners about material changes. You can stop using HoistDue at any time; we may suspend accounts that break these terms.
